Li Shi Feng works hard to reach round of 16

The number 1 seed of this year's Swiss Open, LI Shi Feng (CHN), had a tough game to face today: his opponent Moh. Zaki UBAIDILLAH (INA) was not easily impressed by the Chinese's standing and took point after point from the Chinese player.

The first set was fiercely contested and ended 24-22 in favour of Li Shi Feng, after he had to concede several set points, much to the excitement of the audience. The second set then went to the Indonesian Ubaidillah, who won 21-16, taking the match into a third set.

Li Shi Feng, currently No. 7 in the world rankings, gave his all in the third set to live up to his status as the No. 1 seed, much to the delight of the numerous spectators, and finally defeated Ubaidillah (world No. 40) 24-22, 16-21 and 21-16.

Tomorrow, Li Shi Feng will face Japan's Yudai OKIMOTO, world No. 39, in the round of 16.
