The well crowded hall enjoys a spectacle
A very tight and enthralling match was the first men's double semi-final. Yang Lee/Chi-Lin Wang (TPE) and Yong Dae Lee/Gi Jung Kim (KOR) showed off an incredibly spectacular and breathtakingly long fight for the first ticket to the final.
Both teams aspired to qualify, therefore the match was heated and disputed. With fast rallies and changes between attack and defense, both sides seemed equally worth the title. In game one Lee/Wang remained ahead to their opponents and won 22-20.
The next game was totally under Korean control. Kim/Lee dominated the game and were determined to play a third set. Only a very little number of mistakes let them Score: 21-13.
Back to the roots in the last game - Lee/Wang and Kim/Lee returned to their long and varied play. The nerves made the difference, Lee/Wang won the quite spectacular third game: 22-20.
The audience applauded the winners wildly, who cheered their success in great happiness and relief.
