Jung Kyung Eun/Chang Ye Na (KOR) qualified
The Korean women's double won their semi-final versus Gabriela and Stefani Stoeva (BUL). It's the third victory, only a few weeks after the last one at the PERODUA Malaysia Masters in Kuala Lumpur.
After a good starting performance by the Bulgarians, Jung Kyung Eun/Chang Ye Na slowly turned tables to their advantage. Tight score after the first game: 21-19 for Jung Kyung Eun/Chang Ye Na.
The second game was completely dominated by the Koreans. The Stoeva sisters faced a very challenging situation right in the first rally, when Stefani had to change her racket due to a broken string. After that, it seemed they never found back into the game. Neither playing patiently, nor attacking with all strength got them back on the track. With 21-10 the Koreans qualified for the final.
Their opponent will be Li Wenmei/Zheng Yu (CHN) or Nami Matsuyama/Chiharu Shida (JPN), who play in the evening.
